RECIPE: Gluten Free Snickers Kahlua Cheesecake


Eating Gluten Free isn't just for celiacs and GF sensitivity. It is also recommended for people with auto immune diseases, like fibromyalgia. ... so they say. I hope you enjoy this recipe, my family devoured this one!



Gluten Free Snickers Kahlua Cheesecake

Crust:
2 cup gf graham crumbs (Kinnickinick brand)
2 Tbsp brown sugar
6 Tbsp melted butter

Filling:
2 pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup Kahlua
3 Snickers bars

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9" springform pan and sides.
I also lined the bottom with parchment paper.

Mix together crust ingredients. Press into pan. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cool.

Beat cream cheese and sugar together until creamy.
Add eggs 1 at a time. DO NOT overbeat.
Mix in vanilla and Kahlua.
Lay 3 chocolate bars in pan, in a triangle formation.
Pour creamcheese filling on top.

Place a pan of water in oven on the bottom rack.

Place cheesecake mixture in oven, bake 45 minutes.

When timer goes, run a knife around outside edge. Place back in oven. Turn oven off.
Crack open the oven door. Cool 5 minutes.

Cool 8 hours or overnight.
